報告人簡(jiǎn)介：

林延平教授，1982年在東北大學(xué)獲得學(xué)士學(xué)位，1988年美國華盛頓州立大學(xué)獲得博士學(xué)位。歷任加拿大阿爾伯特大學(xué)終身教授，香港理工大學(xué)應用數學(xué)系教授、副主任，主要研究興趣為偏微分方程和科學(xué)計算，擔任Discrete and continuous dynamical Systems, Series B，Dynamics of Continuous, Discrete and Impulsive Systems, Series B，Advances in Numerical Analysis和International Journal of Numerical Analysis and Modeling期刊的副主編或創(chuàng )刊人，在國際計算數學(xué)權威期刊SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis、SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis等期刊上發(fā)表若干學(xué)術(shù)論文。
