WILD LINKS CAMBODIA & LAOS

The Cardamom Mountains are densely covered with lush virgin rainforest and rising to 1,770m and extend over an area of 4,420,000 hectare covering a large portion of South Western Cambodia. The Cardamoms are considered to represent Southeast Asia's greatest natural resources in terms of virgin forest and wildlife habitats that have never been fully explored or catalogued.

Kuang Xi Bear Rehabilitation Centre in Laos where I travelled with "Free the Bears" tour which involved some very enjoyable volunteer work.

Phnom Tamao Bear Rehabilitation Centre near Phnom Penh in Cambodia where we continued to volunteer our time and admiration for these most splendid creatures. I was honoured to meet Mary Hutton from "Free the Bears Fund Inc" at the official Discovery Store opening.
